Preterist Radio has been broadcasting 24 hours a day 7 days a week for 9 months now. Listenership was growing rather steadily all the way through the month of June. Then something strange happened. In just one month, listening hours doubled and the amount of podcasts being downloaded multiplied by approximately 4 times.

Over the last couple of months we’ve seen some new new additions to Preterist Radio. John Noe joined the lineup of teachers on the station. His program is called Kingdom Christianity and it airs on Thursdays at 3 P.M. Eastern. Ed Stevens has also joined the lineup of teachers on Preterist Radio. His program is called “Then and Now…Learning from the past to shape our future.” His program airs Sunday evenings at 6 P.M. Eastern.

Preterist Radio has begun broadcasting Preterist conferences for those that can’t make it to them in person. Don Preston’s Preterist Pilgrim Weekend broadcast it’s first three lectures while the conference was taking place. Just this last weekend we broadcast the first half of the 2010 Covenant Creation Conference. The first completely virtual preterist conference to be held on Preterist Radio. Coming up September 23-25, we will be simulcasting the New Covenant Eyes conference live from Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

Preterist Radio’s podcast page located at ThePodcast.Org now has close to 450 podcasts posted for your edification and listening pleasure. And with the increase in downloads seen over the last 45 days we’ve seen close to 70,000 podcasts downloaded.

One thing you will notice about the selection of teachers on Preterist Radio is that it is very diverse. And I personally think that this is very important. Some are reformed and some are not. Some believe that the gifts are still active today and some do not. Some hold to a young earth view of Genesis, some do not. And now we are even exploring the Covenant Creation model of Genesis 1-3. And I think this is what makes Preterist Radio unique. We don’t tow any specific doctrinal line. This way we can meet all the teaching needs of the preterist community as a whole. You can listen to live or download all the teachings, or simply listen to the ones you like. Kind of like a buffet. Put what you like on your plate and leave the rest.

My personal philosophy is that we’re all in this together no matter what our differences. Preterist Radio is not here to promote one view in exclusion of another. Now I know that some people might disagree my philosophy. But I’m reminded of an incident involving the apostle John in Luke 9:49-50. John said to Jesus, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow with us.” And Jesus said to him, “Do not forbid him, for he who is not against us is on our side.” I think we can all learn a lot from this incident. Even though we might disagree on some key doctrinal issues…We’re all in this together. He who is not against us is on our side.

Now I want to take a few minutes to talk about the bigger picture. That is The Preterist Broadcast Network. I think we all would like to see The Preterist Broadcast Network grow into something more than just an internet based radio station or podcast page. We have embarked upon what is becoming a full fledged network that covers all areas of media. Audio, Video, Print and beyond. And Preterist Radio to date, has been a very big success regarding it’s growth in listenership and amount of podcasts downloaded. 70,000 to date.

I would like to thank each and every one of you that have become financial partners in the work that The Preterist Broadcast Network is doing. We’re still only about half way to where we need to be for The Preterist Broadcast Network to be out of the red and self sustaining. And we’re at a very critical point in time. If the support base of The Preterist Broadcast Network does not reach $2500 a month we will need to scale back operations significantly.

And so I would like to ask each and every one of you that consider Preterist Radio to be an indispensable part of their lives to consider joining with us at this critical point in time. For those of you that are already giving I would ask you to consider giving an additional one time gift to help us make it over the proverbial hump that is before us. Preterist Radio @ AD70.NET has now been broadcasting for close to 8 months. And let me just say…What a ride it has been.

When I began this project I had no idea how long it would last, or how much work it would take. Nor did I completely realize the effectiveness that it would have in conveying this message of fulfillment. While one of the goals has been met by providing a place of meeting for those outside of conventional forms of fellowship, I never imagined that for many it would become a church home. Preterist Radio @ AD70.NET has quite literally become many listeners virtual church home.

One of the biggest surprises over the last 8 months has been the popularity of the podcast page. There are now more than 330 podcasts available for download at http://thepodcast.org and we are quickly approaching 40,000 podcasts downloaded. That’s more than 40,000 hours of teaching from a fulfilled perspective reaching out to the uttermost parts of the Earth.

The most recent addition to the teaching line up on Preterist Radio is John Noe, author of “Beyond The End Times,” and “Shattering the ‘Left Behind’ Delusion.” His program called Kingdom Christianity, airs live at 12 Noon, Pacific Standard Time on Thursdays. Coming up this fall Ed Stevens and Tim Martin will also be joining the line-up. We also have in the works at least one Spanish broadcast in the near future.

Over the next few months we will begin hosting a live feed from a number of preterist conferences. In July we will be hosting a number of the lectures from the Preterist Pilgram Weekend. Coming up in August we will be airing the first completely virtual conference hosted by Tim Martin and Jeff Vaughn of “Beyond Creation Science,. And in September we will be hosting the “New Covenant Eyes,” conference. With more to come. This way we can all be a part of these conferences even if we can’t make it in person.

So far we’ve all done a very good job at promoting Preterist Radio within the fulfilled community…But now is the time to begin reaching out and advertising to the non-preterist and general public. I’m currently working on a number of advertising and promotional projects that will bring more people to the station. Projects that will not only consume a considerable amount of time, but also resources. The foundation has been laid. Now we need to build the house.

I want to personally thank each and every one of you that has so generously elected to support Preterist Radio financially. We couldn’t have made it this far without you. Support has reached a point where the cost of running things has been covered along with enough funds to cover other projects like AD70.TV. A video sharing site much like YouTube, solely dedicated to preterism, without the file size and time limitations of YouTube. Go check it out. If you have any good preterist videos, please feel free to register and upload them for the world to see. And if you have a website please consider promoting it there.

Which brings me to a topic I’ve been avoiding as long as possible…Finances.

Over the last year, God has richly blessed my family with the financial freedom to actually make Preterist Radio a possibility. However…That will be changing over the coming months and I will have to make some tough decisions regarding the future of Preterist Radio to ensure that my family’s needs continue being met.

I have the opportunity to go back to work as a longshoreman down here in the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. However…I would much rather continue putting my full-time effort and more in to building a full fledged Preterist Broadcast Network that will someday rival the likes of the Trinity Broadcast Network.

So I guess in some sense, I’m at a crossroads and I’d like some feedback from everyone.

We’ve seen some very significant growth in the preterist movement over the last 12 months and I believe that the Preterist Broadcast Network will play a very big roll in the continued growth of the end times reformation that we are all currently witnessing.

I’ve often wondered how many preterist’s there are in the world today. Even if there were only 500 of us, $5 a month from each would ensure the future and continued growth of the Preterist Broadcast Network. That breaks down to just 17 cents a day. $10 a month(34 cents a day) from 500 people would make it possible for many more things including promotional products like shirts, hats, bumper stickers, coffee mugs, promotional cards and eventually advertising campaigns.

Imagine seeing, “The end WAS near…Preterist Radio @ AD70.NET!!!” plastered across the side of every bus in every major U.S. city starting in 2013.

We all know what mass media and advertising has done for futurism…Now lets see what we as preterist’s can do to ensure the continued growth of this modern day reformation.

And so I ask every one out there that has not yet become a financial partner of the Preterist Broadcast Network to prayerfully consider what you can do. I firmly believe that where God guides He provides. He’s done so this far and I’m confident that He will continue to do so.

First and foremost I would like to thank every one of you that have been prayerfully and financially supporting Preterist Radio @ AD70.NET.

We’ve been broadcasting for just over 3 months now and I’m proud to say that we have been seeing some really cool things happen through this broadcast ministry. People that have previously felt disconnected because of their beliefs are now feeling connected and that they are a part of something bigger. Not that a virtual/online environment will ever replace face to face interaction, but the reality is that we are ALL still rather spread out at this time. But…Time is on our side and the result of this message being broadcast to the whole world will bring the face to face interaction to your own community in the years to come.

In just 3 short months we’ve seen a very steady increase in listeners that most new internet radio stations don’t see for years if ever. Which is why so many internet radio stations come and go so frequently. Let me say very emphatically…We are putting sanity back in to Christianity. And we are here to stay!!!

Our podcast page has surprised me most of all. We have seen something take place that I could have never imagined, yet I’m not surprised considering the On-Demand world we now live in. We have now reached a point where approximately 300 podcasts a day are being downloaded. Which is HUGE. Again…This is not the normal growth that broadcasters see in such a short period of time. God is truly doing some amazing things.

We’ve also started a prayer team with the help of Wanda Short and some of her friends and would like to invite anyone of you who are prayer warriors to join with us in lifting each others needs up to God. Feel free to post your prayer requests there so that we can all lift one another up in one accord.

We are also working on taking this Preterist Broadcast Network to the next level and I expect that these next steps will completely take the world by surprise. I can’t go in to details at this time because I want to announce it as a fully functioning much as I did with Preterist Radio. Please keep this next step in your prayers continually. It’s going to be very exciting.

As many of you know, our good friend Lincoln Springer has really stepped up to the plate in helping us promote Preterist Radio by taking the steps necessary to have 1/2 sheet flyers and business card size fliers printed and shipped to those that want to help spread the word. We are currently ironing out some of the final design details and expect to be shipping them very soon. Not only has he offered to cover the cost of doing this but he is also a regular financial supporter of this Preterist Broadcast Network.

My hope is that before long we will also be able to make things like shirts, hats an bumper stickers available as well. However these last three items will be the biggest expense of all.

Which brings me to the part I like the least. And that is asking everyone of you to help us make this all happen. I know that we are living in some tough times financially right now and I really appreciate every one of you that have so generously supported this ministry financially thus far. At the same time I would like to encourage everyone else to consider doing the same. If everyone of us could commit to something…Even $5 a month, it would help tremendously.

At this point in time The Preterist Broadcast Network is completely commercial free and supported by listeners like you. Unlike many if not most other broadcast ministries I also charge nothing to those that are doing the teaching on this station. And I’d really like to keep it that way.

We are greatly encouraged by AD70.net. I have listened to many programs and like: 2 Guys and A Bible, They Journey with Joseph Vincent, Victory Words with Larry Siegle, and New Covenant Eyes (and the music is great too!).

Thank you for what you are doing. We are in a small town (2000 people) and find it difficult to grow in our new preterist perspective. It is difficult to attend the Baptist church and “endure” the futurist teachings. And are frankly, “petrified” to talk about the preterist view with anybody at the Baptist church.

We have share with a few family members and have encountered “distance” and “heresy” experiences (if you know what I mean). We still crave fellowship. We do have 4 families that meet in Wichita every other month or so. But, now, with AD70, we are able to feel connected to the “body of Christ” in our preterist view.
